PROGRAM
Accommodation: 3★, 4★ hotels, lodges, and guesthouses depending on chosen formula.
Day 01: Marrakech
Arrival at Marrakech Menara airport, welcome and assistance. Transfer and check-in at the hotel or Riad. Overnight stay.
Day 02: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Zagora (370 km)
Departure by 4x4 from Marrakech to explore Tichka Pass (2,260 m altitude) with its diverse landscapes towards the South. Afternoon continuation to Zagora. Cross the Anti-Atlas mountains via Tizi N’tanifeft Pass (1,660 m). Arrival in Agdez to take the track to Kasbah Du Caid Ali in Tamnougale and visit the kasbah. Continue along the Draa Valley with its palm groves and ksour until Zagora. Dinner and overnight at hotel or bivouac.
Day 03: Zagora – Mhamid – Chegaga
Breakfast and departure to Amezrou to visit the ancient Jewish kasbah and jewelry-making workshops. Then proceed to Tamegroute to see the Quranic library and pottery workshops. Lunch in Mhamid, then 4x4 ride on a sandy track with a stop at Hamada de Draa to see fossils, continuing to the Chegaga dunes. Camel ride on the dunes and watch the sunset. Dinner and overnight in a nomad tent or under the stars. Camel ride max 2 hours.
Day 04: Chegaga – Foum Zguid – Ouarzazate – Fint Oasis
Early morning to watch the sunrise over the dunes, then breakfast. Departure to Foum Zguid, optional visit to nomads; pass by Iriqui Lake and the desert plateau dotted with acacias. Picnic lunch in an oasis. Continue to Ouarzazate via Taznakhte. Arrival in Ouarzazate around 5:00 PM. Drive 12 km to reach Fint Oasis. Dinner and overnight in bivouac at the oasis.
Day 05: Ouarzazate – Boumalen Dades – Tinghir
After breakfast, visit Ouarzazate: Taourirt Kasbah, film studios. Then depart to Tinghir via Skoura palm grove and Kala M’gouna. Visit Dades Gorges and lunch on-site. Continue to Todgha Gorges via track or road depending on conditions. Dinner and overnight at hotel or lodge.
Day 06: Tinghir – Imilchil
After breakfast, leave Todgha Gorges towards the High Atlas mountains and the lakes plateau, exploring the beautiful small villages. Arrive in Imilchil late afternoon. Visit Isli and Tislit Lakes. Dinner and overnight at small hotel or lodge.
Day 07: Imilchil – Bin El Ouidane – Tillouguite
Descent along the southern part of the northern slope of the Central High Atlas to Bin El Ouidane Lake, lunch at Bin El Ouidane or Ouaouizeght, then continue to Tillouguite. Overnight at a lodge.
Day 08: Tillouguite – Zaouiat Ahansal
After breakfast, depart for Zaouiat Ahansal along Oued Ahansal Valley. Lunch and 4-hour walk to Taghia Cirque and return to Zaouiat. Overnight at lodge.
Day 09: Zaouiat Ahansal – Aït Bouguemmez Valley – Marrakech
After breakfast, continue to Marrakech via Aït Bouguemmez Valley, Aït Mhammed, and Azilal. Overnight at hotel or Riad.
Day 10: Marrakech
After breakfast, free time, then transfer to Marrakech Menara airport for departure flight.
